Clay Cross Social Centre is the ideal venue for your celebration event and is available to hire from just £12 per hour including the bar!
Clay Cross Social Centre received a Village Halls & Community Venues Grant in Autumn 2023. This enabled the bar to be brought up-to-date and helped to freshen up the venue.
The ladies and accessible toilet facilities were also given an update using these funds.
Our licenced bar is managed by the Parish Council and is included in the cost to hire the main hall. It is fully stocked with a range of draft and bottled beers, along with a Gin Bar! A selection of soft drinks are also available.

Clay Cross Social Centre has one of the finest dance floors in the area. It is spacious and comfortable, with a furnished lounge area adjacent to the bar and a fully equipped kitchen. In good weather there is an outdoor seating area and during the evening and weekends a large car park.
Price List and Booking Information.
We are fully licensed for entertainment with a maximum capacity for 200 persons.
Our fully licensed bar is managed by the Parish Council; John Smiths bitter, Fosters and Coors lager along with Strongbow Cider on draught plus we have a range of bottled lagers, ciders, spirits and a Gin Bar along with wine and prosecco by the glass or bottle. Soft drinks are also available.

- Clay Cross Kurling Group every Thursday from 10.30AM. This is a new friendly Group, open to everyone! Come along for a chance to have fun and socialise. This activity can be done from sitting or standing. Cost per person/session just £1 ... refreshments available
- Right Track Soul Club Northern Soul Nights on the first Friday of every month. Doors/Bar open from 7.30PM. Admission £4 per person on the door. Original DJs Steve Bright, Paul Bright and Mark Mellors. Memories of Wigan and Mr M's 100% Old School Northern Soul and Motown.
