Derbyshire Police Officer Recruitment

Derbyshire's Police and Crime Commissioner Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts has welcomed 60 new Derbyshire Police recruits to their training at Ripley Headquarters.

The new officers will initially attend 999 calls alongside colleagues, including Safer Neighbourhood Teams, to ensure our communities continue to be a safe place to live, work and visit.

Derbyshire Police are now looking to recruit a further 35 new officers, funded as part of the Government's 'Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee'.

Nicolle says: "Anyone interested in becoming a police officer should visit the force's website to find out more. We are keen to hear from people of all backgrounds to ensure that our police force really does represent the community it serves."
